OneUI 2 - Beta 5 Available
Hello. The 5th OneUI beta for US models is now available and you can flash it on your device. Again and again and again, there are no new features in this release, only bug fixes. The upgrade procedure is the same. If you are already on the fourth beta release, you must rollback to Pie (US FW) if you have flashed the Canada CSC. Otherwise, the update will fail (you won't brick anything but the system won't allow you to update since it's expecting the US CSC). If you have not, you may flash the zip directly. To be perfectly clear:
IF YOU ARE ON THE FOURTH BETA AND FLASHED THE CANADA CSC:
-Rollback to Pie (US FW, Update 1) using Odin
-Install Update 2 to 6 zips via ADB
IF YOU ARE ON THE FOURTH BETA AND HAVE NOT FLASHED THE CANADA CSC:
- Install Update 6 zip
The OneUI2 beta folder is here.
All the changes are a boatload of bug fixes and no new features, exactly like Beta 4.
Really, if you are expecting any new feature, you will be disappointed. The stable release will happen relatively soon and bug fixes will continue to rain until then.
